HGIS Download

HGIS Version 7.33 (November 2005) for older unlock codes.
If your license (unlock) code ends in:
-xAxxx, -xBxxx, -xCxxx, -xDxxx, or -xExxx
then you must run this version of HGIS.

This version will run on Windows XP, ME, NT4, 2000, 98, WindowsMobile, PocketPC, and CE.net
Recommended: XP, 2000, NT4, and WindowsMobile Version 4.2 and later
(the current version of Windows Mobile is 5.1).

Steps to run HGIS® on all Windows® computers.
1) Download the HGIS executable file for your computer (and Manual) below.
2) Copy to desired computer and run HGIS the first time.
3) Enter your unlock code (you will get back a MachineID or Handheld ID code).
4) Get Activation Code for each computer by clicking Licensed User Activation
5) Enjoy mapping.

Make an Install CD	Copy these files to blank CD

For Desktop, Laptop, or Tablet Computers (Windows XP, ME, NT, 2000, or 98)
1) Download HGIS_setup.exe to a temporary folder such as C:\My Download Files or C:\Temp
2) Run HGIS_setup.exe Select Install HGIS or Run without Install
3) If Install HGIS then HGIS will install and exit. Select Start...Programs...HGIS...HGIS.exe
4) LICENSED users receive a Registration Number when HGIS is purchased. HGIS also requires a License Activation code. You may install HGIS on up to two computers - One Desktop or Laptop or Tablet plus one PocketPC.

For Newer PocketPCs (Windows CE and CE.net; Version v4.1 and up)
1) Download HGIS_ARM.exe to a temporary folder such as C:\My Download Files or C:\Temp
2) Copy HGIS_ARM.exe to folder \Windows\Start Menu\Programs on the PocketPC using:
    A) Microsoft ActiveSync between the two computers (ActiveSync CD came with your computer).
    B) A Flash Memory card to transfer the file to this folder on the PocketPC.
3) On the PocketPC select Start...Programs...HGIS_ARM.exe
4) LICENSED users recieved a Registration Number when HGIS is purchased. HGIS also requires a License Activation code. You may install HGIS on up to two computers - One Desktop or Laptop or Tablet plus one PocketPC.

For older PocketPCs (Windows CE Version 2.11, 2.12, 3.00)
1) Determine the computer's processor type: For XScale, SA, StrongARM, ARM, TDS Recon, or Allegro CE use the instructions for newer PocketPCs above.
2) Download appropriate file for your processor type:
A) HGIS_486.exe for the Allegro CE/DOS PocketPC
B) HGIS_MIP.exe for MIPS (Cassiopia, Compaq Aero)
C) HGIS_SH3.exe for SH3 (Some older HP PocketPCs)
3) Copy above file to folder \Windows\Start Menu\Programs on the PocketPC using:
    A) Microsoft ActiveSync between the two computers
    B) A Flash Memory card to transfer the file to the PocketPC.
4) On the PocketPC select above file Start...Programs...HGIS_*.exe
5) LICENSED users recieved a Registration Number when HGIS is purchased. HGIS also requires a License Activation code. You may install HGIS on up to two computers - One Desktop or Laptop or Tablet plus one PocketPC.

Installation notes:
1) Licensed users may install HGIS GPS on two computers - one Desktop OR Laptop OR Tablet that may use GPS, plus one PocketPC that may use GPS. Your license allows only one GPS at at time. If you have trouble with Activation, please contact your dealer. If your computer fails, your HGIS dealer can issue you a replacement activation code.
